One of the biggest problems most home gardeners face is trying to keep wild animals out of their gardens. The most common predator for many gardeners are birds. Many birds love the flowers, fruits, and vegetables that are grown in gardens and when a garden is not protected can be destroyed. Gardens that are located way out in the country can quickly become the buffet for all wild birds in the area. This forces many gardeners to use garden netting to protect their gardens from birds.

Birds are the most difficult animal to keep out of gardens. Usually birds are a welcomed visitor to any backyard since they are beautiful to watch and their song brings peace to any yard. Birds also do a great job of taking care of bugs. Many people love to use various methods to attract various species of birds by having feeders and bird houses.

The only time birds are a problem is when they invade gardens. Gardeners that raise berries such as cherries and raspberries can have their garden quickly destroyed by birds.

One of best ways and possibly the only way to restrict birds from getting into gardens is by covering the garden with netting. This type of netting is specifically designed to cover bushes which deters birds. Netting protect plants without keeping them from growing. The netting also allows sunlight in and it's easy to remove it for harvest. The color of this netting allows it to blend into any garden so it doesn't detract from the bushes.

If this type of netting doesn't suit your needs there is also garden insect netting. This type of netting is designed similar to bird garden netting with only a few differences. Insect garden netting is tighter and is used to keep small creatures such as insects from getting into your garden. For gardeners that have a lot of insects this is a great way to protect your garden without using harmful chemicals and sprays.
